About Us

Our Mission: To daily accept God’s personal, loving call on our lives and follow Him in faithful service to Myrtle Creek and surrounding areas.
Our Vision: We will serve our community by mingling, befriending and meeting their needs; and when prompted by the Holy Spirit extend the invitation to follow Jesus.
The Myrtle Creek Seventh-day Adventist Church (also abbreviated as "SDA Church") is a group of Christians who love Jesus and endeavor to share Him with others.  You can learn more about prayer, study and worship opportunities we offer by clicking on the "Calendar" tab above or by clicking HERE.  We are part of a "district" that also includes the Canyonville and Winston Seventh-day Adventist Churches, and our pastor ministers in those areas as well.  You can access archived sermons from Canyonville by clicking/tapping on the tab "Audio Sermons. . . " above.

We also partner with the Oregon Conference of Seventh-day Adventists.  The Oregon Conference represents over 130 churches and 32 K-12 schools in Oregon and southwest Washington. The conference headquarters, located in Gladstone, Oregon serves its constituency by providing ministry and logistical support to pastors, teachers and over 36,000 members.  You can learn more about the Oregon Conference and their ministries by clicking HERE

The Oregon Conference is part of the world-wide Seventh-day Adventist Church which has a ministry presence in 217 nations and includes over 20 million members.

We are also glad to be a local chapter of God's Closet.  Learn more on our ministry website by clicking HERE

Some Beliefs

Adventists believe a Godhead of three persons—the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit—make up one God. They made salvation possible when Jesus, the Son, came to earth as a baby in Bethlehem and lived a sinless life in accordance with the Father's will. When Jesus was crucified for the sins of the people of the world and arose from the dead on the third day, victory was won for everyone.

When He returned to heaven following the resurrection, Jesus left the Holy Spirit to serve as our Comforter and Counselor. He promised to return to earth a second time to complete His plan of salvation and take His people to heaven. Adventists are among the believers who look forward to that day.

Adventists believe that God is concerned with the quality of human life, and that everything—the way we live, eat, speak, think, treat each other, and care for the world around us—is part of His plan. Our families, our children, our jobs, our talents, our money, and our time are all important to Him.
